Vice Chair of the RIPE Programme Committee, and chair of the Nominating Committee that selected the RIPE Chair and Vice Chair in the 2024–2025 cycle. Co-founder of the Global NOG Alliance and lead of its Keep Ukraine Connected task force.

Jan Žorž is Head of ProVision Labs, Principal Architect and Innovation Lead, working on network protocols and automation to accelerate global IPv6 deployment. With over thirty years in internet infrastructure, he serves as Vice Chair of the RIPE Programme Committee and chair of the RIPE SEE meeting, and founded SINOG. He is the primary co-author of RIPE-554, the global standard for IPv6 procurement, and co-author of several IETF RFCs. Jan co-founded the Global NOG Alliance and leads its Keep Ukraine Connected task force. He previously worked at the Internet Society and was CEO of the Go6 Institute. Based in Slovenia, EU, he has presented at all five Regional Internet Registries and at over 150 technical conferences worldwide.
